CELIBACY iS A TOOL, not an identity.
Womb sovereignty isn't simply enacted through celibacy. Celibacy is a dense expression of sovereignty but not the sole determination for whether a woman has sovereignty in spirit.
Abstinence poses the question of "what are you really working with when you're not siphoning or being siphoned?" It’s not meant to be something in which you grasp to as a means for validation or a false sense of purity. Desire and pleasure aren’t something you have to earn, but having sovereignty over where desire and pleasure derive is what’s crucial to maintaining psychological purity. You see, this idea of purity has been reduced over many years and imposed upon women as a way to measure her worth. We rely on modern concepts like virginity and body counts to decipher who is worthy of love. What a fucked up way to revere women. What a fucked up way to love.
What is sovereignty in spirit?
Sovereignty. Well according to Dictionary.com (lol) sovereignty is a self-governing state. Supreme power and authority. The authority of a state to govern itself or another state. Now let’s merge that with the idea of ‘womb sovereignty’ or ‘sacral sovereignty.’ Supreme power and authority over one’s pleasure, creation, body, and all associated energy exchanges. We’ve been sold an illusion on what the womb really is. It doesn’t define who you are as a woman. It is a TOOL. A built in mechanism that allows us to create and purge on a cyclical basis. Not merely a home to birth new life in the form of children but new energies of whatever kind we desire. How fucking powerful are we to be designed in such a way? So what is sovereignty in spirit? Authority over how energies are yielded and transmuted.
The womb is what tether us all.
Whether you’re a man, woman, non-binary, whatever you identify as, you are tethered to the womb. Whether it’s your womb, your mother’s, your grandmother’s, or your great…great…great grandmother’s. You are bound to the alchemical forces in which they housed in their bodies and thus their spirits. Psychological processing is also linked to the womb in an interdependent way. Psychological patterns and processes can always be observed when one tunes into what their sacral is communicating to them. Your body is the greatest communicator. So when we think about this idea of abstinence, it leaves you with the raw energy of you and all of those who came before you. It’s a sort of communion with God and every resonant spirit…free from outside infiltration. It provides you with the opportunity to clear karma passed down and stored for god knows how many generations. Abstinence isn’t an identity to hold onto forever. It’s simply an opportunity to come into holy matrimony with yourself, expanding your awareness and sharpening your discernment of all seen and unseen forces within and outside of you.
